Strategic Coaching for Meteorologists Ready to Move Forward

Private-industry career development, built on real-world experience.

Coaching is about learning from someone who has already walked the path you’re on.

The meteorology job market is competitive. Breaking in is hard. Changing roles mid-career can be just as challenging. It’s not always obvious where to look, how to position yourself, or how to stand out.

With over 20 years of experience across aviation, marine, transportation, energy, and agriculture, I help meteorologists develop a clear strategy, refine their professional positioning, and prepare with confidence for real-world hiring processes.

But my career didn’t happen overnight.

It took two years to land my first meteorology job. Another year for the second. And every step since has required seemingly endless applications, interviews, and learning how to communicate what I would bring to the job.

The truth is, it doesn’t get easier. You just get smarter about the process.

You don’t need to figure it out alone, and you don’t need 20 years to do it.

FAQs

Who is this for?
Meteorologists at any level, from students, early-career, mid-career, or experienced forecasters, who want to create a strategy for their career growth, need help with job application materials or want a better interview performance.

What industries do you support?
General operational meteorology, energy and commodities, aviation, road transportation, marine/offshore, agriculture, insurance, forensics, and event forecasting.

Do you write the resume for me or just edit?
Resume Review is feedback + edits, and then you fix it on your own. Resume Rewrite and Growth/Complete includes the option My Met Job will completely rewrite your resume and/or cover letter.

What’s a “targeted” resume?
A targeted resume is aligned to a specific job posting: tailored summary, skills, keywords, and bullet selection to match what the employer is hiring for.

How does the mock interview work?
You’ll get a realistic interview simulation, recorded (1:1), followed by direct feedback and a clear improvement plan. Normally, the first interview in a job hiring process is one-on-one.

What is the forecast test?
A forecasting exercise based on your target sector (energy, aviation, road weather, etc.) designed to simulate employer skill assessments.

Do you guarantee a job offer?
No, but you’ll gain a better understanding of where you are and learn the path to get where you want to be. You will have to get the job offer on your own.

How fast can we start?
After purchase, you’ll receive scheduling instructions immediately, where you can book a spot on our calendar. The meeting will be conducted via Google Meet.

Do you work with international applicants?
Yes. Scheduling a time that works across time zones can be challenging, but we will make it work. All meetings and applications will be done in English.
